Well...it was too good to be true...I was released from the movie. It seems that I was just too big. I'm not sure if it was my overall size or simply the size of my feet. I suspect they could not get vintage size 13 shoes for the Orderlies but I'm not certain. Anyone else know about Orderlies getting cut because of shoe size?

didn't have any mirrors there so you can't see what you look like. They told me I looked appropriately pathetic!

I can't believe I'm in. I was one of thousands and now I'm an orderly! :-) The ironic part is that I work about 5 minutes away from the Taunton filming sight...but I'm in the Medfield scenes. The fitting day was pretty cool. I felt like I was inside a DVD with behind the scenes footage. If only I could get them to let me take pictures.

I just got back from my German Soldier costume fitting...pretty painless...I still can't believe they called me!! I drove all the way up to B.U. that day and saw how many people HADN'T moved in the line, turned around and came home...on a whim, I emailed a couple pics and some contact info...I almost dropped the phone when I got the message Tues. night...best part is, Whittenton Mills is about 2 and a 1/2 minutes from my house...

This is gonna be quite an experience!

Extras do indeed get paid. I think you get paid more if you are a SAG member. The pay isn't the most fabulous, but it is more than descent and, to me, it seems that it's more about the experience of working of a film, particularly one like this, than the pay.
