Ben & Jerry’s Boston has launched an eco-friendly photo contest on Twitter. Ben & Jerry’s Boston aims to encourage its fans to re-purpose their finished pints in the most fun & creative ways and tweet pictures of them to @BenJerryBoston. The contest winners will be announced on Earth Day, April 22.

Participants are asked to follow Ben & Jerry’s Boston (@BenJerryBoston) on Twitter and submit photos of their creative and eco-friendly reuses of empty Ben & Jerry’s pints with the hash tag #PintProject. Great looking photos are desired, and all entries will be voted on by the #PintProject panel of judges: Jenny Johnson, host & producer of TV Diner on NECN, Gavin Merlot, singer & co-founder of Boston’s own Gentleman Hall, and Tom O’Keefe, creator of @BostonTweet. The grand prize for the top winner will be an exclusive trip & behind the scenes tour for two to the Ben & Jerry’s factory in Waterbury, Vermont. A select number of runner-ups will also win free Ben & Jerry’s ice cream for one year.

Ben & Jerry’s Boston Twitter Contest Page Two “Ben & Jerry’s Boston team is extremely excited to launch the #PintProject and engage our community in what we feel will be a fun and memorable experience,” said Ryan Midden, general manager of Ben & Jerry’s Boston. “We hope these few weeks will be an opportunity for us to connect with more of our fans in Boston and give them the chance to showcase their creativity and love for Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.”
