In honor of the 75th anniversary of Thornton Wilder’s masterpiece Our Town, the creative minds at imaginary beasts turn to a celebration of the author. Using our own heady and offbeat style of theatre we are exploring Wilder's less known early works: inventive playlets showcasing his burgeoning interest in experimenting with form. Join us!

Poets and peasants, a mermaid and Mozart flicker into vivid and fleeting life as worlds of wonder and mystery unfold in a dreamer’s twilight.

Come experience the young Thornton Wilder at play as imaginary beasts takes a rare look into the early works of one of this country’s most beloved authors.
