Burrito Rolling for a Cause
Monthly Celebrity Roller Series at Anna’s Taqueria
WHAT:
Anna’s Taqueria, Boston’s beloved burrito joint, rolls for a cause
in 2013 by enlisting a different local celebrity each month to prepare
its signature West Coast-style burritos in support of area charities.
Hosted monthly at Anna’s Harvard Street store,
the rolling series invites guests to give back to local organizations
by paying $10 for their celebrity-rolled burrito, with the entire cost
going toward the charity of the roller’s choice.
At the core of Anna’s mission is giving back to the neighborhoods that
have helped grow the restaurant into a treasured citywide staple. Over
the years, Anna’s
has supported countless organizations and has encouraged fundraising at
the grassroots level by helping local organizations and volunteers
champion the causes they’re passionate about. The burrito rolling series
is a continuation of that goal, putting local
notables “behind the line” to flex their burrito-rolling muscles in
support of the larger community.
