swissbäkers, the authentic, family-owned Swiss bakery
and cafe which is currently located in the train depot at 32 Lincoln Street in
Reading, Massachusetts is expanding to Boston this month, and
the family wants YOUR help in naming their newest family member -- a
giant red cow. swissbäkers is family owned and
operated by husband wife team Helene and Thomas Stohr and their two sons
Tobias and Nicolas. The giant red cow, which will find its home atop
the new swissbäkers location, at 168 Western Avenue in Allston,
is an important emblem representing the Swiss nation.
The giant red cow will be a landmark for all to see when
they arrive at swissbäkers and it embodies all that swissbäkers stands
for-- fresh, authentic, foods and a friendly, grandchild sustainable,
community business.
NAMING THE RED COW CONTEST: WIN A STAY IN SWITZERLAND
The red cow‘s name will be determined through a contest at
the grand opening on Thursday, February 28th. For the duration of the
event, which runs from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. there will be a massive bowl to toss a
name idea into. The winner will be chosen at the end of the event, between 7:30
and 8:00 p.m. The winner of the contest will win a stay for two in
Switzerland for one week.
