This year, I went to Europe for the first time - it was awesome. And now I'm already thinking about next year ... or if at all possible ... later this year.
The folks over at Galapogos Explorer asked me to take a look at their site and let you guys know what I thought. I've never been to South America, so if I were to head down there for 2 weeks, it might be nice to do a 4 day cruise to the Galapagos.
Did I mention, I've never been on a cruise before either? From looking around on their website, it looks like they have a decent amount of activities: snorkeling, whale watching, karaoke, stargazing, island excursions.
Now I just need to find people to go with me. I'm thinking maybe surf camp in Costa Rica for a week and then maybe one of these Galapagos Cruises.

Anonymous Said,
I just got back from South America and met many people who went to the Galapagos. They all loved it, and said to not book anything until you get to Ecuador, its much cheaper and you can get a better idea of the best companies when you are there by booking a tour from the departure city. We did similarly in the Amazon, booking in the town where the tours left and it was much, much cheaper.
