So I've been reading up on what the latest trends have been lately and two things kept on coming up.  One was beer cocktails (I've tried them, I'm not a fan).  And the other was pop up restaurants.  As luck should have it, there's one coming up next week that features our very own Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonnette.  I'm a pretty big fan of their restaurants, so I'm pretty excited overall.

Here are the details that I have: 

Save the date and make your reservations sooner than later -- cause this promises to be one delicious and fun night! Jay Haaj of Mike's City Diner in the South End welcomes Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonnette for a one-night "Pop Up" dinner!

One Day, One Time Only: Wednesday, August 17th @ Mike’s City Diner @ 7:00 p.m., these powerhouse chefs will join forces to cook 9-courses for $60 a person including wine.

PS: I hear dessert will include soft-serve horchata ice cream covered with a chocolate shell and cinnamon crisp crunch.
