Finale Desserterie & Bakery, Boston’s venerable sweet spot, explores the world of craft beer in two tasting events featuring a sampling of five flavored craft beers paired with some of Finale’s most decadent desserts. Executive Pastry Chef, Nicole Coady, has carefully selected desserts, which will enhance the sweeter accents in these beers.
Additionally, Erika Soucy from Great Brewers will discuss the five beers and their unconventional flavors such as Bosteels Tripel Karmeliet which exudes hints of banana, vanilla and bubble-gum, as well as Schneider Aventinus Eisbock, a vintage beer which reflects flavors of chocolate malt, vanilla and java beans.
Dessert pairings include:
· Lindeman’s Peche with a fresh Seasonal Fruit Tart
· Bosteel’s Tripel Karmeliet with Crème Brulee
· Wells Banana Bread with Boston Cream
· Schneider Aventinus Eisbock with Chocolate Symphony Squares
· Atwater Vanilla Java Porter with Chocolate Decadence\
