Thanks for all the good luck wishes last week. You'll be happy to know that I passed my exam and therefore get to keep my job. Some of you asked which exam it was, it was the Series 7. Not a particularly hard exam, the limiting factor was just finding time to study for it outside of work. Now I'm hoping for a short reprieve before i start studying for the series 63, 55, and 3.

Coming up this Thursday is the Revels & Perkins School for the Blind's 11th Annual Celebration of Spring.

Directed by Patrick Swanson; Music Direction by George Emlen

Thursday, May 26, 2011, 7:30 pm
Perkins School for the Blind
Dwight Hall - 175 No. Beacon Street, Watertown, MA
Admission is FREE

Join us as Revels partners with Perkins School for the Blind for the eleventh successive year in a memorable music-filled Celebration of the Spring.

This one-hour performance of seasonal music and dance will feature the Perkins School Secondary Program Chorus (Arnie Harris, director), adults and children from Revels Repertory Company, song leader and musician David Coffin, the renowned Perkins Trio featuring baritone/soloist John Castillo, a Perkins student and regular performer around town, musicians Natty Smith (fiddle), Bill Smith (guitar and banjo) and Sarah Gregory Smith (bass), a Sword dance team from the Ambrose Middle School in Winchester, and the energetic and talented Mulberry Morris children's dance team. And it wouldn't be a Revels celebration of spring without a visit from the ancient and mysterious Padstow 'Obby 'Oss, all the way from Cornwall, England!

Revels' partnership with Perkins School for the Blind these many years has been rewarding for all of us in so many ways. We hope you can share the joy of this special evening with us.
