Colum Egan, Master Distiller of Bushmills Irish Whiskey came to town last week. We were lucky enough to be invited for a meet and greet and of course a whiskey tasting. Photog credit goes to Dan Marino Photography.
And for those of you who would like to know what we tasted out there, here are the recipes:
The Woodward
Autumn Heather
3/4 oz Dom Canton
3/4 oz Honey Simple
1 1/2 oz Black Bush
2 Dash of Burnt Cinn Bitters
Stir with ice, strain onto fresh ice, Rocks glass. Large lemon zest, leave in.

Frontier:
2 1/2 oz Black bush
1 oz maple molasses simple
1/4 oz Punt E Mes
1/4 oz blood orange bitters
1/4 oz lemon juice
Drambuie wash
Orange disc
Whiskey Priest
Bushmills Press:
Bushmills Original
Club soda
Ginger ale
Lime
