I wish I had known about this at the start of the summer, then we all would have been able to take advantage of more free events.  Well, as I always say, better late than .... pregnant.  ZING!  Just kidding.  I joke.  At least there are a few more events from the Highland Street Foundation's Free Fun Fridays that we can still take advantage of.

The Free Fun Fridays program invites everyone to visit a designated museum or attraction for free over ten Fridays this summer and Labor Day Weekend (Friday & Saturday). Please note that the venues are free during normal business hours, and you do not need to register or obtain a ticket.

August 20th
Institute of Contemporary Art – Boston

August 27th
Museum of Science – Boston


Friday September 3rd
New England Historic Genealogical Society - Boston
Sports Museum – Boston
EcoTarium – Worcester
Cape Cod Museum of Art – Dennis
New Bedford Whaling Museum – New Bedford
Concord Museum - Concord
Stone Zoo – Stoneham
Buttonwood Park Zoo – New Bedford

Saturday September 4th
Edward Gorey House – Yarmouth Port
Worcester Art Museum – Worcester
USS Constitution Museum – Charlestown
Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame – Springfield
American Textile History Museum – Lowell
Discovery Museum – Acton
Cape Cod Children’s Museum – Mashpee
Berkshire Museum – Pittsfield

That's a lot of places to visit for free.
