On July 13, the Museum of Science will be hosting our very first Science Social, an evening of live music, food, cocktails, and science fun at the Museum's waterfront pavilion overlooking the Charles River and Boston skyline. Guests will also have access to our newest exhibit, Whales | Tohorā from 6-7pm. Bostonian singer/songwriter Jay Leonard will be performing his traditional acoustic music, and his songs touch on a variety of topics from the story of a Maine whaling vessel, to the Civil War, to love in the Green Mountains. We'll also have an ice cream-making demonstration using liquid nitrogen!
The event is 21+, guests must show a valid ID. Casual attire. $25 per person includes food, entertainment, and Whales | Tohorā admission. Cash bar.
Museum Facebook fans and Twitter followers can get $5 off their ticket by entering code SOCIAL0710 at checkout.
