Ok, good thing this is running through the summer, I'm going to wait until it gets a little bit warmer and then swing by one of these Mojito Monday events at the Intercontinental.

Hands-on class to learn how to make one of summer’s most popular drinks – the mojito! RumBa, InterContinental Boston’s popular rum and champagne bar with more than 100 rums from around the world, launches its popular third annual ‘Mojito Mondays’ on Mon., May 10, 2010 and runs every Monday through August 30, 2010 from 6 - 7 p.m.

In addition to a selection of mojitos on RumBa’s cocktail menu available daily from 11 a.m. - 1:15 a.m. (last call), every Monday evening RumBa offers an outdoor hands-on mojito making class from 6 - 7 p.m. on InterContinental Boston’s waterfront terrace. Guests receive a brief history and overview on this refreshing summer cocktail followed by instruction on making mojitos that includes both a traditional mojito and a flavored mojito (flavors will change each week). Flavored mojitos include fresh fruit and Barcardi® flavored rums. Mojitos will include raspberry, peach, melon, blueberry/lemon, orange, strawberry and Bacardi’s new Torched Cherry™ rum. Included in the cost of the class are two moijtos (drink what you make), a selection of RumBa appetizers, a take-home muddler and mojito recipes. This weekly class will be capped at 40 participants (ages 21+). Reservations are required.

Every Monday - May 10 through August 30, 2010.
6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
$35 per person
For reservations, call 617-217-5148.
