At first I was going to say, who wants to celebrate Mother's Day with a children's cartoon character?  But then I realized if there's no children, then there's Mother's Day.  For those of you in the 'burbs, this one's for you.

Everyone’s favorite heroine, Dora the Explorer, will make it a Mother’s Day to remember at the Halfway Cafe in Holbrook. Dora will make a special appearance at the Halfway Cafe in Holbrook during their Mothers Day Brunch on Sunday, May 9. The brunch, scheduled from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM; Dora is expected to be at Halfway Café to sign autographs and take pictures from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. Reservations for Mother’s Day Brunch at the Halfway Café in Holbrook are recommended and can be made by calling the Holbrook location at 781-767-2900.

Moms and families who dine at any of the seven Halfway Café locations between now and Mothers Day can register to win a family four pack of tickets to see Dora and her friends at Nickelodeon’s “Storytime Live!” in Boston. “ Dora will be joined on stage May 22 and 23 at the Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theater by popular characters from Nickelodeon’s pre-schooler geared programs “The Backyardigans,” “Wonder Pets!” and “Ni Hao, Kai-lan.” Winners of the Halfway Café drawings will be selected on Mother’s Day.

  1. Tahir Said,

The Dora the Explorer Power Wheels is the perfect toddler ride on toys for young girls. What child wouldn't want the fun and the adventures that come with having their very own quad and the girls are no exception. Battery ride on toys are great for helping your child develop self-confidence and independence.
