Anime Boston - 4/2 to 4/4

3/26/2010 01:18:00 AM
I just recently started watching anime again.  I watched a little bit as a kid and then nothing and then now I'm hooked on Naruto and Full Metal Alchemist.  Coming up next week is Anime Boston.

Anime Boston is an annual three-day Japanese animation convention held in Boston, Massachusetts. Anime Boston 2010 will be held Friday, April 2nd through Sunday, April 4th at the Hynes Convention Center and Sheraton Boston Hotel.

Anime Boston 2010 will once again be presenting popular events which include a masquerade, an anime music video contest, video programming rooms, an artists' alley and art show, karaoke, game shows, video games, manga library, dances and balls, and much more... We'll also be hosting some special guests and industry representatives at Anime Boston.

I recently watched Death Note.  That one was pretty good as well.  Any other suggestions?

  1. Anonymous Said,

You haven't see nothin' yet. :) Here's some good stuff, in no particular order.

Black Lagoon (two series). Samurai Champloo. Ghost in the Shell (both feature films, and two series. the feature movies are just great). Cowboy Bebop (series and a feature film). Akira (old and weird, but good). Paprika (mindblowing in places). Vampire hunter D (old, very weird, good). Witch Hunter Robin (decent. definitely better then FMA). Anything by Miyazaki. Anything by Mamuro Oshii.
