1000 Words: Miss Boston 2010

2/24/2010 12:02:00 AM
Anyone have a chance to make it to the Miss Boston 2010 Pageant a few days ago (here)?  I wasn't, but my friend Adam was kind enough to pass along a few photos.  Photo credits go to Peter Rufo.

Congrats to Ashley Rizzo!

The judges of the Miss Boston Pageant have crowned Ashley Rizzo as Miss Boston 2010.  The Miss Boston Pageant took place this afternoon before a full ball room at the Omni Parker House in Boston, MA.  Ashley was among 17 young women from Massachusetts competing for the title of Miss Boston 2010, an official Miss America preliminary pageant.

  2. Stephanie Janes, Executive Director, Miss Boston Organization Said,

Hello - I just saw the comment about the pageant being rigged, and I'd like to correct that opinion. The Miss America, Miss MA, and Miss Boston pageants all take the scoring and results very seriously. This pageant is not rigged. In fact, we have independent auditors doing the scoring. I'm sorry if there is some sort of misconception about the scoring, but we uphold the highest integrity in our scoring system.
