StyleBoston Debut - 9/9

9/04/2009 12:02:00 AM
Glad I told you guys not to quite me the last time I talked about StyleBoston (here), because I got their launch date wrong. But at least I was only off by a day. The new show debuts on 9/9.

On September 9, “styleboston” hits New England airwaves, and for those who live for the cosmopolitan life, local television will never be the same. With a focus on both the aspirational and attainable, “styleboston” will redefine local television by offering viewers a new perspective on the personalities and destinations that, together, make New England one of the most dynamic locations in the United States.

Created by former Boston Common editor Terri Stanley and hosted by some of Boston’s most stylish citizens, “styleboston” also features segments on design, travel, dining, nightlife, sports, and media, all shot on location in Boston and throughout New England.

I'm a big fan of local tv. I was pretty happy when I found out that Fringe took place in Boston, only to be disappointed when I found out they did the actual filming in NYC. But this show will be different. It's filmed in Boston, about Boston, and for Bostonians.

  1. Erica Farthing Said,

I'm excited to see the debut of this show. For Boston's sake in the fashion industry, I hope that it is not cheesy as other lifestyle attempts at locals shows in the past have been. With Fashion Week upon is, it will be a great time for this show to really gain some traction.
