Big Papi Now Serving Lunch

9/17/2009 12:15:00 AM
It's only been a little over a month and Big Papi (here) is already kicking ass and taking names. In this particular instance, I happen to be referring to the new restaurant that opened in July.

Plantain encrusted Fish and Chips, the Chimichurri burger and many more of David Ortiz’s favorite dishes can now be found at lunchtime in Framingham at Big Papi’s Grille. Due to popular demand, Big Papi’s Grille, the upscale casual restaurant co-owned by Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz, will now be serving lunch daily starting at 11:30am. The restaurant, which opened to accolades in July 2009, has consistently been filled to capacity.

The restaurant’s lunch menu reflects the quality and variety that patrons of Big Papi’s Grille have recently come to expect, including high quality, “natural” steaks, entrĂ©e salads, hearty pasta dishes, and Kobe beef burgers. Big Papi’s zesty “En Fuego” hot sauces – from mild to hot -- are available to spice up any of the entrees and can also be purchased at the restaurant.

I usually take clients to lunch at the Legal Seafood over there on Rt 9 when I'm in Framingham, but I'm thinking that it may be time to mix it up a little bit and swing by Big Papi's.
