I have a weakness for desserts. In particular, whenever I'm at a restaurant and I see bread pudding on the menu, I have to have it. I've been to plenty of beer fests and wine expos while in Boston, but this will be my first time going to a dessert expo.

Dessert buyers and sweet tooths alike will be in confectionary heaven as 100 local exhibitors sample their designer desserts, chocolates, ice cream and more at the 2009 New England Dessert Showcase. The New England Dessert Showcase is the East Coast’s premier dessert experience, bringing together the gourmet dessert and wine industries. The finest dessert makers will feature their best culinary creations to buyers, and the public. This event is open to the public so take this opportunity to savor the tastes of New England’s best desserts and cocktails. Partial proceeds benefit the Children’s Trust Fund.
