For the past 2 weeks, each time I've gone to Neptune's, they've been out of their bay scallops. I went yesterday for a quick bite and luckily they just got some in.
My friend Michelle was visiting from out of town so in order to cram as many Bostonian meals as possible into one weekend, we started off by walking to James Hook and grabbing a lobster roll to share as we walked to Legal's (by the Aquarium). Stopped in for a cup of chowder, then walked to Neptune's to grab a few oysters, scallops, and cherrystones. And then finished up at Mike's with a canolli and a slice of Boston creme pie.
