It seems like every time I walk down Newbury Street these days, another store has closed. But today was different, I was and saw something new that had opened: A KangaROOS Store!
Now, KangaROOS are near and dear to me because they are the first pair of shoes that I can actually remember wearing. They were dark blue and they had two velco straps, because I hadn't learned how to tie my shoes yet. They also gave me the ability to jump really high - or at least that's what I told myself.

There you have it. 292 Newbury Street. In talking to the sales girl, she said they just opened this past Friday and if I didn't hear wrong - it's also the first KangaROOS store in the U.S.

Anonymous Said,
You should check out their site, it's pretty cool. No ecommerce yet, sadly, but at least you can browse the full 2009 line -- the shoe detail pages link out to Zappos and FinishLine, et al.
