Former astronaut Buzz Aldrin was at Symphony Hall on 6/11 performing with the Boston Pops.
Fighter pilot, MIT doctor of science, and one of the first guys to walk on the moon, Buzz was narrating Gustav Holst's The Planets with Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops.

For those of you that were wondering (probably just me), Buzz was class of '63 at MIT. There's actually a website of "notable" MIT alumi (here).
