Review: Stephi's on Tremont

4/01/2009 12:03:00 AM
Bloggery Reader DanDan was kind enough to check out the new Stephi's on Tremot and provide a quick review of his experience. He left it as a comment, but I wanted to make sure folks saw it (since most of you read via RSS and don't make it to the actual site too often).

I got there around 8:30pm yesterday and it was packed. As we didn't have anywhere to go, we hung out at the bar until we got seated. It took about an hour (which is what we were told it would take) before we got seated, but it was well worth it.

The food was great, the service was spot on, and the prices were not at all unreasonable (esp when you compare it to Hamersley's or Sibling Rivalry right around the corner).

I would definitely go again, but the lack of reservations and relatively small space would make this a go to on an off night or on a night I don't have any place to be.

Sounds promising. I didn't get a chance to make it over before I left for all my trips, but I'm back in town now so hopefully I'll get to swing by and check it out for myself.

  2. Julie Said,

I've been to Stephi's twice now (two weekends in a row) but only for brunch.
4/21: 3 of us showed up at 3pm (there was no wait) and our sandwiches were to die for. The french onion panini won lunch.
4/29: 3 of us showed up at 10:30am (there was a 5 minute wait) and the breakfast was amazing. The meatloaf hash took first place out of our meals.
    I highly recommend Stephi's.
