It's nice to see other MIT folks keeping the brewing tradition alive - segue into Pretty Things Beer.
So turn your magpie peepers toward Cambridge-based Pretty Things Beer and Ale Project, a brand new craft brewing company with sweet hand-drawn labels. From a longtime brewmaster and his wife, an MIT scientist, the small-batch, just-complex-enough beers are a labor of love. The golden Jack D’Or has a hint of bread and fruitiness, while the slightly chocolatey Saint Botolph’s Town is ale-like without tasting like a punch in the face.
That's good news, because I have an aversion for being punched in the face.
