Taste of the South End - 3/10

3/09/2009 02:20:00 AM
If you just take a look at me, you can tell that I like to eat. And one of my favorite areas with quite the concentration of great restaurants is the South End. I just ate at Aquitaine last week for the first time in a while - the food was great. Sibling Rivalry, Metropolis Cafe, B&G Oysters, the list goes on and on.

Well for one night only, you can sample food from many of the restaurants there at the Taste of the South End event tomorrow.

For one night only, sample culinary creations from some of the best kitchens in Boston and get a taste of how delicious a night out in the South End can be. Attendees will enjoy bite-sized versions of dishes taken directly from the menus of their favorite restaurants, plus live cooking demonstrations, a silent auction and raffle, extensive wine tasting and beer sampling.

Admission includes unlimited sampling from 45 of the South End’s finest restaurants plus complimentary fine wine, cocktails and more.

Unlimited sampling and complimentary drinks? Uhhh, yum.

  1. Dan Dan Said,

I was all reared up and ready to go. Then I saw the price tag: $95. While not at all unreasonable considering it's less than the price of a dinner and a couple cocktails with tip at most of these places, it's a little rich for my tastes. I should probably, you know, get a job and become a responsible member of society first...
