Many thanks to Bloggery Reader Alice for sending this to me. I actually had the pleasure of meeting her last week at a mutual friend's birthday party. Anyhoo, here's a fairly complete list of all the recession restaurant deals in Boston right now. I'm just going to list a few of them here as the list is rather long. Here are a few I plan on checking out:B&G Oysters, oyster small plates (Sunday evenings) and lobster small plates (Monday evenings) January-March. $3-$12 for oyster dishes, $6-$12 for lobster dishes.
Craigie on Main, Neighborhood Menu, three courses for $38 Tuesday-Friday, Sun, and after 9 p.m. Sat; Chef's Whim, $39.99 for four courses or $54.99 for six courses Sundays after 9 p.m.
Hamersley's Bistro, $40 for three courses daily.
Radius, three courses for $45 Mon-Fri.
I'm sure new ones have come out since the list's publication, but it's a fairly comprehensive list that should keep you busy for a while.
Click (here) for the complete list.

Dan Dan Said,
I've already made use of two of them! They're basically the same deal as restaurant week, not worth it unless you go to a really expensive place you otherwise wouldn't be able to afford.
But if you're looking for a $20 dinner at L'Espalier as your benchmark for a "deal", I wouldn't hold my breath
