Science on Screen at the Coolidge Corner Theatre celebrates the underappreciated holiday of Groundhog Day with a screening of -- appropriately enough – GROUNDHOG DAY on Mon, Feb 2 at 7:00 pm.
Joining us for a discussion on this and other topics related to time is Peter Galison. An author, film producer and MacArthur Award winner, Galison is a leading historian of science and is the Joseph Pellegrino University Professor of physics and the history of science at Harvard University. Galison's research explores both the philosophical and historical questions that arise when examining the role of experiments in modern physics.
Have you ever actually tried Sweet Vermouth, rocks, with a twist? It's not very tasty. I had to wait nine years after seeing the movie before I could find that out (it came out in 1993). Not very satisfying. Very different from the time me and my older brother saw The Big Lebowski and then he drank nothing but White Russians for weeks afterwards.

That is actually one of my least favorite movies. Who wants to see a movie where the same thing happens again...and again... and again. I guess it makes you feel like your in the movie....
