A little history lesson for the drinkers out there. The 18th amendment took alcohol away from us and the 21st amendment gave it back to us. When was this amendment passed? Almost exactly 75 years ago - on December 5, 1933 (one day short). Seeing as how 75 is a nice round number, we should celebrate!

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the day the drinking resumed, Phoenix Landing and Stuff@Night are hosting a Dewar's Repeal Day party.

2008 was a historic year for change and 75 years ago America made another historic change! On December 5, 1933 America made the choice to repeal prohibiton, Dewar's White Label, FNX and The Phoenix want to celebrate with an exclusive 75th anniversary party. Special performances by The Sterns, and the Fatal Flaw.

I've been to a handful of Stuff @Night parties of late: the Shreve, Crump, and Low event, the Mad Men Party, and the Election Party. And I will personally attest that they are awesome.
