I was broke when I was a college student. So, I was always looking for a way to save a few bucks. One method that worked out quite well was the Student Advantage card. There were a handful of discounts that I used fairly often namely: Amtrak, Armani Exchange, and Urban Outfitters.
I don't actually wear stuff from either of those clothing stores, but what I'd do is purchase stuff that was on sale, use the additional 10%-15% off SA discount and then resell the clothing on Ebay. It was a nice little gig for a short while.
There's also discounts at Karmaloop, Target, and a whole lot more. The card only costs $20 for a year.
