Yet another story of a politician's run in with the law. This time, though, it's a little closer to home than a Minneapolis airport. Senator James Marzilli was arrested yesterday in downtown Lowell.

A state senator was arrested Tuesday on charges he attempted to sexually touch a woman in a park, just weeks after prosecutors said there wasn't enough evidence to press charges when another woman claimed he assaulted her.

Lowell Police said Sen. James Marzilli was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the city's downtown area after trying to flee. The charges include disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, attempting to commit a crime, assault and battery, and obstruction of justice.
