Say hello to one more additional way of traveling between NYC and Boston. Megabus (here) started service last week. The Globe sent one of their reporters to report on the experience and it sounded not so good. I guess Megabus has some kinks they need to work out. The same thing happened with Bolt Bus - my first experience was not so good (here). But my second ride with them was better.
Chief operating officer Dale Moser said Wi-Fi has been postponed until June 9 so parental blocks for inappropriate websites can be added.
The bus arrived at Pennsylvania Station an hour late, at 11:45 a.m., in part because of a construction accident in New York City, but also because the driver needed directions. No map in hand, he looked at a one-page photocopy of handwritten directions.
So my thoughts are to wait a few weeks so that Wi-Fi is added and also so that the drivers can learn their routes.
