The world is apparently suffering from a worldwide hops shortage. You may as well tell me that the sky is falling or that the end of days is near. Go ahead and increase the price of my milk (I'm lactose intolerant) or my bread (I'm cutting down on carbs) - but don't mess with my beer (Yes, I know beer has carbs - just go with it for now).
Apparently it's gotten so serious that smaller craft breweries can't get enough to stay in business. That's where Boston Beer Company (the makers of Sam Adams) comes to the rescue. They started up a Hops Sharing Program to share from their inventory and resell (at cost) to those that need it. Props to you guys for doing this.
And to those of you out there that have some arable (SAT word alert!) land laying around and are looking for a way to make some extra money - GROW HOPS! People will buy it.
