One of the most hilarious bumper stickers I ever saw was one that I saw at Boot Town in Dallas. Yes, there is a store there called Boot Town that sells cowboy boots and cowboy hats amongst other things. The bumper sticker read "I'm a vegetarian not because I love animals, but because I hate plants."

I suppose the opposite is true for me - I must hate animals - because I love to eat them. That's why I was pretty psyched when I read today's Boston Business Journal article about the Craigie Street Bistrot (does anyone know why these guys have a "T" at the end of the word Bistro?)

The Cambridge, Mass-based restaurant is the only U.S. restaurant named top 10 best restaurants in the world for carnivores by Food & Wine magazine May 2008 issue.

Wow - top in the WORLD - that's a big deal. The Craigie Street Bistrot is yet another restaurant that I have not eaten at yet, but have heard wonderful things about - this time from my friend Tim.

Clearly I do not get out enough. But mark my words - I will go to all these restaurants that I blog about. I'm sure my credit cards are happy to hear this - and so are my love handles.
