Elizabeth Berg Book Signing - 4/15

4/14/2008 11:52:00 AM
Today's quickly becoming an unofficial "girl power" day. First there was the post on the upcoming Aspire conference (here). And now I'm posting about Elizabeth Berg's book signing tomorrow for her new book "The Day I Ate Whatever I Wanted." Here's what Amazon has to say about the book:

In this collection of mostly uplifting stories, Berg explores the everyday challenges that women face. Whether teenaged or octogenarian, Berg's heroines brave the emotional landmines underlying domestic scenes (from holiday dinner parties to visiting family), navigate the slippery slope of constant dieting and address the process of aging. The title story features an unnamed, insouciant narrator who flees from a Weight Watchers meeting and allows herself to indulge her most fattening food cravings.

I haven't read any of her books myself (I don't think I'm part of her target demographic) but for those of you that are, she'll be at the Barnes & Nobles in Framingham at 7pm tomorrow April 15th.

Click (here) for details on her book reading/signing.
