MIT Media Lab To Design Future Bank

3/31/2008 12:29:00 PM
I worked at the MIT Media Lab when I was a freshmen. That place was so cool - lots of really neat stuff that was being 'invented'.

Bank of America Corp. is donating up to $25 million to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Media Lab to establish a "future banking" center, the company said Monday. The center will be located at the Media Lab in Cambridge, Mass. and will research how the banking industry will be transformed.

What do you guys think the bank of the future will look like? I'm not creative enough to think of any design type stuff, but I think getting rid of the penny would be a good idea, considering the fact that it now costs more than one cent to make a penny.
