I've only been to Martha's Vineyard twice. The first time was for a Kentucky Derby party that a client had. She has a very nice house out there, and I had a wonderful time. Barbaro won that year. The second time, my family was in town so we all went over to do a more touristy tour of Martha's Vineyard.
Coming up this weekend, a reason to head over a third time: The Martha's Vineyard Annual Harvest. From October 12th to October 14th brace yourself for a schedule of great food and great wine.
The Martha's Vineyard Annual Harvest Festival will celebrate a cornucopia of food and wine, promoting local farms and seafood as well as wineries from all over the world and chefs from both on-island and off, extending Martha’s Vineyard’s vibrant fall season. The Martha’s Vineyard Museum will be the primary charitable affiliation of this non-profit festival.
