Head of the Charles - 10/20

10/18/2007 03:32:00 PM
Row...row....row...your boat. Coming up this weekend is the 43rd Annual Head of the Charles Regatta. For those of you that may be new to Boston, that means lots of crew teams from various universities will be in Boston to compete on the Charles River.

According to the Dig, 7500 athletes will compete in 55 events with other 300,000 spectators. What does this mean for you? Try not to drive because traffic will suck. Click (here) for the official website and schedule of events.

So if you've got some time this weekend, walk over to the Charles and cheer on your college crew buddies. Good luck to my friend Skip, if he's rowing in it.

haha your friend 'skip'.... I'll be on the lookout for my friends Prescott, Rutherford, and Amory. Oh, and looking for Teagan and Farnsworth who used to help me keep my squash game up-to-par when I was on breaks from Exeter!
