College Night at the MFA Tonight

9/27/2007 11:19:00 AM
Ok, so you've been back to campus for 2-3 weeks now. You've purchased your textbooks and settled into your dorm room. Now it's a choice between doing your problem sets and ....well...... not doing your problem sets. I'm pretty sure I know which option wins out.

Kill some time tonight at the MFA (Museum of Fine Arts for you freshman that are new to Boston). It'll be a cultural event and maybe you'll learn something new.

Show us your college ID to enjoy Thurston Moore's* Trees outside the Academy tour, a five-hour DJ dance party, $2 pizza slices, MFA Mobile wallpapers, one-night-only 10% savings in our Bookstore & Shop, and of course, ART! (Lucky you—it's also opening night of "Walk This Way," our kickin' exhibition of shoes on display throughout the Museum.)

*Seats for Thurston Moore's performance are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Huntington Avenue Entrance doors open no sooner than 7 pm. Must have valid college ID to enter show.

For those of you older students that are already familiar with the club scene, take a night off and head to the MFA. Gypsy Bar, Mansion, Liquor Store, etc will still be there waiting for you on Friday.
