If blues music isn't your thing, maybe salsa dancing is. This Saturday 8/25, Community Boating, SalsaBoston and JJ Productions Present: Salsa by the Charles II. I'm not much of a dancer. I missed the swing dancing craze in the late 90's and I'm definitely standing on the sidelines for the current latin dancing craze.
That's what makes this particular event nice. They have a beginner's class at 8:30pm and then the real party commences at 9:30 until 1:30am. So if you can't dance, head over early and learn a few moves. Then you can live la vida loca for the rest of the night.
