August is THE month to hang out in the North End. A number of historic feasts are celebrated during this summer month and what else are you going to do in the North End besides eat great food? I missed the St. Agrippina Feast, as I was in NYC last weekend, but don't worry there's four more left this month.
Friday August 10th - 12th
Feast of Madonna Della Cava - Battery & Hanover Streets
Thursday August 16th - 19th
Fisherman's Feast - Fleet & North Streets
Friday August 24th - 26th
Feast of St. Anthony - Thacher & Endicott Streets
Sunday August 27th
St. Lucy's Feast - Thacher & Endicott Streets
Also finishing up this weekend is the 18th Annual North End Family Pride Week. Click (here) for the schedule. There's still a host of events to go: bake sale, flea, BBQ, outdoor concert, etc.
