Taste of Cambridge

7/17/2007 11:41:00 AM
I love food festivals for the same reason I love buffets. As a single guy, I can sample alot of different foods without having to order a bunch of dishes and eat leftovers for the rest of the week. Coming up on Thursday (unless it rains) is the Taste of Cambridge food festival. Official website (here)

"The Taste of Cambridge is a celebration of the diverse restaurant scene in Cambridge. With cuisine from America to Japan to Brazil to France and everything in between, Cambridge is a melting pot- a tasty one to be sure- of culture and cuisine. This event features creative and abundant samples of food, beer and wine from the wonderful restaurants found around the city, enhanced by a beautiful outdoor setting, live music and a great crowd."

Tickets are $50 in advance and $60 at the door. You can get them online at the website or at any Cambridge Whole Foods store.

The event is currently planned for July 19th 5:30-7:30pm 2007 in Technology Square near Kendall. If it rains though, the event will be postponed for a week until July 26th. Based on the current forecast it's looking like the event will most likely be postponed.
