Looking for something to do outside so you can enjoy the warm weather? Look no further. Beantown Bloggery proudly presents our Summer Activity Series with our debut activity: fruit picking. Being in the New England are, there's actually quite the variety to choose from. Below we'll outline the best 'seasons' for each of the fruits.

Strawberries: Mid-June through Early July.
Blueberries: Mid-July through Mid-August.
Raspberries: Early July until Fall.

Apple picking is in the Fall, so we'll leave that for another post. Lastly, here are a couple of nearby farms that will be happy to indulge you in your fruit picking adventures.

Connors Farm: Route 35 in Danvers
Lookout Farm: Route 16 in Natick
