I Owe Anonyomous A Cookie

6/22/2007 10:22:00 AM
Thanks again to everyone for your continued support. Today marks the 1 month point for the Beantown Bloggery and things are off to a great start. [Anonymous] left a comment yesterday on my posting about Mass. Ave being closed this weekend that I owed him/her a cookie. If I knew who you were, I would. But since I don't, here are a few great places so everyone can go out and get their own. PS. I love comments, keep them coming.

Cookie Place #1
Finale
Finale has been around for a few years now, I believe they have 3 locations now. Park Plaza, Harvard Sq, and Coolidge Corner. It's a great place to take a date. Their signature dish is their molten chocolate cake. I'm a big fan of their creme brulee. Also, if you get takeout from their bakery, you can get their cookies. They are a little on the small side, but quite delicious.

Cookie Place #2
Garden of Eden
This South End Bakery has indoor and outdoor dining and a bakery that you can get takeout from. Having lived right next to the Garden of Eden a year or so ago, I used to run in and grab a cookie on my walk home from work on a regular basis. These cookies are huge and delicious. The oatmeal raisin is awesome and so is the dark chocolate chip.

Cookie Place #3
Petsi's Pies
I could tell you to go to Petsi's for the cookies, but you'd come back and tell me I'm crazy. The cookies there are wonderful, but the pies are even better. If you're a food person and you haven't heard of yelp.com or chowhound.com, goto those websites and check them out. I like the reviews I find there better than the ones I can find on citysearch. For example: (here)
