Hot Dog Safari at Suffolk Downs

6/02/2007 01:00:00 AM
Horse racing, Cirque du Soleil, and All You Can Eat Hot Dogs. What do all three of these things have in common? They all take place at Suffolk Downs. Obviously not at the same time, but can you imagine how much fun it would be if it did? But hey, 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

Tomorrow, Sunday June 3rd, Suffolk Downs will be hosting the 18th Annual Hot Dog Safari. The event starts at 9am; be sure to wear your stretchy pants because this event features all the hot dogs, sausages and ice cream sundaes you can eat!

In addition to the food, fun and games, the day features live horse racing beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Tickets are $10 when purchased in advance, $15 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at the Suffolk Downs Customer Service Center and at Sovereign Bank locations. Children six and under are admitted free.

All proceeds benefit the Joey Fund and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, so get out there and eat enough hot dogs to put Kobayashi to shame. After all, it's for a good cause.
