Harborfest 2007

6/26/2007 11:19:00 AM
So many festivals, so little time. This whole 'going to work' thing is really putting a damper on my summer activities. I hope everyone had a chance to go to the Phantom Gourmet's BBQ Beach Party. This Thursday marks the start of the 26th Annual Boston Harborfest. Partying starts on the 28th of June and will go on all way up to July 4th.

The opening ceremony takes place at Noon on Thursday at Fanuil Hall and there will be over 200 daily events spanning the seven day celebration. In the words of the official website: (here) Boston Harborfest 2007 is a seven-day long Fourth of July festival that showcases the colonial and maritime heritage of the cradle of the American Revolution: the historic City of Boston.

There's so much going on, that I can't hope to type it all out here. But I will post a few of the highlights and leave links here for you for easy access.

Sunday July 1 - City Hall Plaza - Chowderfest
Monday July 2 - City Hall Plaza - Children's Day
Daily Live Music - see (here) for schedule and performers.
